If you need financial support, we’re extending our current overdraft support measures up to and including the 29 August 2020.
Starting from 30 August 2020, we’ll apply our standard pricing. The table below shows the arranged overdraft interest rates we’ll charge on your account, alongside the interest-free amounts and the dates they’re effective from.
These are temporary measures and not a change to contractual terms, which remain the same.
If you'll continue to be affected financially by COVID-19 beyond 29 August 2020, and you’re experiencing a reduction in your income or an increase in expenditure, we may be able to help. Until 31 October 2020, you can apply to keep your temporary arranged overdraft pricing for a further three months. To do this please complete the request form. We’ve done this to help customers experiencing financial difficulties due to the outbreak. We encourage you to only request this extra support if you need it.
We’re not able to extend this offer to customers who have negotiated rates in place. Any debit interest on the overdraft will continue to be charged at your negotiated rate.
From 30 August 2020, we’ll also start to charge interest again for any unarranged overdraft borrowing, subject to our standard Maximum Monthly Charge of £20 for unarranged borrowing. Any unarranged overdraft interest accrued from 30 August 2020 will be notified to you at least 14 days before it is due to be charged to your account.
